PRIMAT STAND BY system for Oracle standby databases provides high availability, data protection and recovery of the information system. The solution includes a set of processes and procedures for the creation, maintenance and management of one or more standby databases to protect it from damage and data loss.
The system maintains a standby base as a consistent copy of the primary (production) base. If the primary database becomes unavailable in case of planned or unplanned reasons, the standby system can promote one of the standby bases into primary one which minimizes base inaccessibility time.
The solution can be used for classic archive and data restore as well as cluster technology which allows a high level of protection and data availability.
