Bergenbier S.A. in Romania, is part of the global brewery group Molson Coors Company, which in mid-2012 took over the Starbev Group.
The project was implemented during the summer and autumn of 2012. The system supports the marking of a pallet with a finished goods and the receipt and delivery of finished goods using handheld RF terminals. All data is stored in the Oracle database to ensure the sequence of the finished goods palette. For the purpose of manual labeling of less frequent production lines, table printers and PLC circuits for labeling and control are set up. The system is installed in a production plant in Ploiesti.
The system is connected to the SAP company system and is fully based on the webserver technology with a remote server located in the Global Data Center (GDC) of the entire group in Belgium.
